Blog
A very tough day today as both Paul and I are suffering from a lot
of aches and pains especially in our knees which are causing us
a fair amount of pain as we ride. It's scary to think that in 5.5
days we have reached Scotland but we still have over 350 miles to
go. The mood was lightened with the introduction of the "phwoar
she got a lovely pair of ........ " game, and you had to insert
a word for every letter of the alphabet. Not much but it got us
through 20 miles. We're now sitting in our caravan on a gorgeous
farm in the borders of Scotland with stunning views and just before
we arrived Toby and Harriet saw Lambs being born on the farm. That's
dinner sorted then. Chris joins us again tomorrow for what hopefully
will be an easier day as we only have 86 miles to do. Fortunately
the Farm also offers B&B so as there isn't much from my waist
down that doesn't hurt I'm off.
Please
keep the messages of support coming through as they are really helping
us

Last night we kindly had our kit washed by the old lady in the B&B,
however when we got back to the caravan and sorted the washing into
piles we found we had acquired a pair of her frilly knickers!!!!
I was all for taking them back but for some reason Neil has taken
quite a liking to them!!
Today wasn't the easiest as someone had broken into my room last
night and smashed my knee caps with a cricket bat (well that's what
it felt like).
Haven't seen any kilts yet but plenty of pale people with ginger
hair.
