After
a slightly better night's sleep and the welcome sight of both Big
Jim and the sunsine we set off on a 110 mile day at pretty fast
pace before we knew it we had completed 40 miles in 2hrs 15 mins,
two main reasons for this, the roads were flat in comparison to
what we cycled the two days before and Big Jim actually knows how
to cylce compared to us amatures and as such rode out front for
90% of the day ( The guy is a machine and a legend ) Thanks James.
Lunch stop just outside Bristol and the every reliable Toby and
Harriet were waiting with the caravan and food prepared. After Lunch
we only had 50 miles left to the campsite and off we set along the
A38 only slight change from the morning's formation was when Big
Jim slipped to the back for a 5 min rest but after a few words he
realised the error of his ways and normal service was resumed and
he got out front and dragged us home. Everyone feeling generally
ok other that what is to be expected, looking forward to Chris joining
us tomorrow and a slightly slower pace.
